13 years later and still making magic happen! 🎬✨
Today I had the incredible joy of catching up with Mark Burman, the talented Hollywood film director I first met over a decade ago when we were shooting a pilot film together. Back then, I was organizing locations across Kenya while working alongside my good friend Bazzel Baz (Hollywood actor/stuntman extraordinaire).
It’s amazing how time flies and how the film industry brings people together across continents and years. Now Mark is back in Kenya with his beautiful wife Kay West, and it feels like no time has passed at all.
There’s something special about reconnecting with creative souls who share your passion for storytelling. Kenya continues to be a backdrop for incredible memories and meaningful connections. 🇰🇪

"Caught between where I've been and where I'm going, and I'm learning that this liminal space—this beautiful uncertainty—is where transformation actually lives. Growth doesn't happen in the dramatic moments we post about; it happens in quiet pauses like this, when you stop running toward the next thing long enough to integrate who you've become. The view is clearer when you're not afraid of the mist”.

**Passing the torch 🔥✨**

This morning was a beautiful reminder of the power of mentorship and community. There's something magical that happens when generations come together to share wisdom, dreams, and encouragement.

To the incredible women who poured into us today - thank you for showing us what's possible and reminding us that we don't have to walk this journey alone. Your stories, your strength, and your belief in our potential means everything.

And to my sisters beside me - we're stronger together. Let's keep lifting each other up, celebrating each other's wins, and creating the path for those who come after us.

The spears we hold today represent the strength our ancestors passed down to us. Tomorrow, we'll be the ones passing that strength forward. 💪🏾
