Tigania West MP Dr John Mutunga has accused former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of failing to honour agreements made with the Ameru community during his tenure.

The High Court has lifted temporary restrictions that had barred Marie Stopes Kenya from offering abortion services, post-abortion care, and related public information.

Igembe South MP John Paul Mwirigi has accused former Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi of shaming the Meru people during his time at the ministry.

Mwirigi described Linturi as a self-seeking leader who failed to deliver for Kenyans, saying Meru residents are hardworking and deserve to benefit from the current government.

Igembe South MP Johnpaul Mwirigi has defended President William Ruto against criticism, saying his critics lack a clear vision for Kenya’s progress.

“Wale watu wengi unaowasikia wakipiga Rais Ruto ni watu ambao hawana maono ya kupeleka hii Kenya mbele,” Mwirigi said.

He cited development in Meru County, noting that the county’s Level 5 hospital has been upgraded to Level 6, attributing the progress to cooperation between President Ruto and the county government.
