I was pleased to attend the launch of the MCA Kaimbo Mikinduri Tournament, together with our Chief Officer, Mr. Kangote.

Sports remain a powerful platform for nurturing talent, uniting communities, promoting discipline, and giving our young people positive opportunities to grow and excel.

We will continue supporting initiatives that empower our youth through sports and strengthen community participation.

Congratulations to MCA Kaimbo and the people of Mikinduri on this great initiative. Let the games begin!

At Mikinduri, I had the privilege of listening to and learning from seasoned veterans in politics and public leadership.

Among them was Hon. Karauri, former MP for Tigania East and father to Hon. Ronald Karauri, Kasarani MP and SportPesa CEO. Also with us was Mr. Andrew Njeru, brother to Hon. Mpuru Aburi.

There is immense value in sitting with those who have walked the political journey before us listening to their experiences, understanding the lessons they have gathered over the years, and tapping into their wisdom.

Leadership is a continuous journey of learning. We grow by listening, reflecting and drawing lessons from those who have gone ahead of us.

A great moment visiting K.K Catholic Church, Kooje, once again and sharing with the faithful and the community.

As we approach 2027, our people must choose leaders who can listen, understand community priorities, and present a clear development agenda. Leadership should be about service, accountability, and results.

I also called for peaceful, respectful and issue-based campaigns. Political competition should never divide families, neighbours or communities.

Let 2027 be a contest of ideas, development and service to the people.

Peace first. People first. Development first.
