🎬 We’re Hiring: Full-Time Video Editor (On-Site – Nairobi)
Are you a creative video editor who knows how to turn raw ideas into powerful visual stories?
We’re looking for a full-time, on-site Video Editor who can do more than just cut clips — someone who can research, source footage and images online, and build cohesive, engaging stories from scratch.
If you understand pacing, retention, and emotional storytelling — this could be for you.
📍 Location
On-site (Nairobi)
🎥 What You’ll Be Doing
• Editing long-form YouTube videos and short-form content
• Sourcing high-quality stock footage, images, sound effects, and music
• Building cohesive visual narratives from scripts
• Matching visuals to voiceovers for strong retention
• Adding motion graphics, text overlays, and basic animations
• Ensuring pacing, rhythm, and storytelling flow
• Organizing and managing project files efficiently
✅ What We’re Looking For
• 1–3 years of video editing experience (or strong portfolio equivalent)
• Strong storytelling instincts (not just technical editing skills)
• Ability to independently source visuals that enhance the narrative
• Proficiency in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro/ Davinci Resolve/ Capcut (required)
• After Effects (preferred)
• Photoshop (basic level helpful)
• Understanding of YouTube-style retention editing is a plus
• Strong internet research skills
• Good communication and ability to take feedback
📂 Important: Portfolio Required
