Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun

This evening, I joined family, relatives, friends and mourners in mourning and celebrating the life of the late Swabrina, beloved wife to Abdulwaheed Shariff Nassir, brother to Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir.
The Janaza prayers were held at Mbaruk Mosque in Makadara, followed by the burial at the family cemetery in Sarigoi, where hundreds gathered to pay their final respects and stand in solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult moment of grief.
I convey my heartfelt condolences to Abdulwaheed Shariff Nassir, his family, relatives and friends following this painful loss.
May the Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings, widen and illuminate her grave, and grant her the highest ranks in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.

This morning, I joined thousands of Muslim faithful at Tononoka Grounds for the Eid Ul Adha prayers, a special occasion that reminds us of the values of faith, sacrifice, humility, and compassion.

I was honoured to accompany UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar Hassan and Mvita MP aspirant Said Twaha during the prayers led by Sheikh Abu Hamza, who delivered an inspiring message on unity, peace, and obedience to God.

Eid Ul Adha is not only a celebration of devotion, but also a moment to strengthen our bonds as a community, support one another, and pray for continued peace and prosperity in our country.

May this blessed occasion bring joy, blessings, and answered prayers to all Muslim brothers and sisters across Kenya and beyond.

This afternoon, I joined family, friends, and other mourners at the burial of the late Abdallah Bidu in Tsunza. The late was a respected former KPA employee, nephew to the late Ali Bidu, former Kinango MP, and brother-in-law to Sabrina Kanini, a dedicated member of my team.

During this difficult moment, we stood together with the family and the wider community in mourning and prayer for the departed soul.

May the Almighty grant Abdallah Bidu eternal peace and give strength, comfort, and patience to the family during this painful period of grief.

Today, I joined thousands of Coast residents at Mama Ngina Waterfront for the issuance of 33,000 title deeds to squatters a historic milestone in addressing long-standing land injustices in the Coastal region.

The event was graced by His Excellency William Samoei Ruto and symbolized renewed hope for thousands of families who have waited for many years to finally secure ownership of the land they call home.
