Today's launch of Gitui Dispensary saw MCA Mama Kang'ata face a section of residents chanting "Wantam" slogans in the presence of Governor Kang'ata and other guests.

The incident has sparked
debate on whether the political mood in Wangu Ward is beginning to shift. With the MCA having announced her intention to seek re-election under the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) banner, observers are questioning whether the reception reflects growing dissatisfaction among some voters.
As the saying goes, the ground is the ultimate judge.Only time will tell as leaders continue engaging residents ahead of the next election.

The distribution of Super Napier grass by the incoming MCA 2027 is already underway, bringing a wave of positive change to farmers across the ward. Several farmers have already received and planted the high-yield fodder.

The MCA noted that the initiative aims to strengthen local agriculture by promoting sustainable livestock farming and reducing the cost of animal feed. Many farmers have praised the program, saying the Super Napier project is transforming their productivity and boosting household income, marking a major step forward for the ward’s agricultural sector.

Gatheru Residents installing bumps on a road that has been very notorious with car accidents. The unmarked road with no bumps and no street lights has already claimed a life of a young man whose future was very bright due to a hit and run accident. Enough is Enough! We call upon the Necessary authorities to work with speed installing proper bumps and street lights.

We are saddened by the Death of Francis Maina Irungu(Jesu) after a hit and run accident that happened at Gathugu area(lower wangu) on 26th saturday night 9:40-9:50pm. Maina succumbed to injuries while being treated In Hospital.
