Mo Bajaber will not participate in the upcoming CHAN 2024 tournament, as he is set to join Tanzanian club Simba SC. The talented player is preparing to fly to Cairo with his new team for their pre-season activities. It’s important to note that the CHAN tournament is exclusively for locally based players, which is why Bajaber will be absent. Headline: Student Declared Unfit for Trial in Murder Case

Eric Mutinda, a student at Multimedia University, has been declared unfit to stand trial for the murder of his colleague, Sylvia Kemunto. A recent mental assessment report submitted to the court, conducted by a psychiatrist from Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital, reveals that Mutinda is mentally unstable.

During the assessment, Mutinda appeared in court without a relative to provide corroborative history. He denied his involvement in the crime but acknowledged that he had been charged with murder. The findings from the psychiatric evaluation raise significant questions about his ability to participate in the legal proceedings effectively.

As the case unfolds, the focus will now shift to addressing Mutinda's mental health and how it will impact the ongoing legal process.

The prime suspect behind a tragic arson attack that claimed nine lives in Sigomere, Upanda village in Ugunja Sub County, Siaya County, has been arrested in Kibra, Nairobi.

Christopher Okello Owino, 56, was apprehended in the Kianda area inside his house while having supper with his children. He had reportedly gone into hiding after learning that detectives were pursuing him.

According to authorities, detectives received a tip-off about Owino’s presence in the area just hours after the horrific fire incident in Sigomere that wiped out an entire family. Residents who knew Owino raised suspicions after he informed them he had traveled to his rural home on the night of the incident.
