Story of Ali ibn Abi Talib
Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) was the cousin of Prophet Muhammad and later became his son-in-law by marrying Fatimah bint Muhammad.
Early Life
Born in Makkah around 600 CE.
Raised in the household of the Prophet ﷺ.
Among the very first people to accept Islam, while still a young boy.
His Courage
Ali (RA) was known for his bravery. During the Prophet's migration (Hijrah) from Makkah to Madinah, Ali slept in the Prophet's bed to protect him from the Quraysh who planned to assassinate him.
He fought bravely in many battles, including:
Battle of Badr
Battle of Uhud
Battle of Khaybar
At Khaybar, the Prophet ﷺ said:
"Tomorrow I will give the banner to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah and His Messenger love him."
The banner was given to Ali (RA), and Allah granted victory through him.
His Knowledge
Ali (RA) was famous for his wisdom, knowledge of the Qur'an, and fair judgment. Many companions would seek his advice on difficult matters.
Fourth Caliph
After the martyrdom of Uthman ibn Affan, Ali (RA) became the fourth of the Rightly Guided Caliphs.
Martyrdom
In 661 CE, Ali (RA) was struck while going for Fajr prayer and later passed away from his injuries. Muslims remember him as one of the greatest companions of the Prophet ﷺ.
A Famous Saying

May Allah be pleased with Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) and all the companions of the Prophet ﷺ. 🤲

INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJIUN.

“Indeed, to Allah we belong and indeed to Him we shall return.”

These servants of Allah are among those who answered the call of their Lord in the holiest land, on the most blessed day, while engaged in a great act of worship at the plain of Arafat. Truly, this is a great martyrdom and a mercy from Allah.

We ask Allah, the Most High, to accept them as His honored guests, forgive their shortcomings, fill their graves with mercy and light, and make Al-Jannatul Firdaus their final abode. 🤍

O Allah, grant their families and loved ones patience and strength to bear this loss. We are all travelers passing through this world. O Allah, grant us all a good ending. 🥺
