The recent demolitions along the Nairobi River in Kiambiu Slum have displaced many families, leaving them homeless and struggling to find a place to live. With schools reopened, parents are faced with the overwhelming challenge of figuring out where their children will stay and how they can afford to send them to school. The government's lack of assistance has only added to the hardship.
