Men, in this harsh world โ no one owes you a thing. Not even your own family.
Look at our fallen brother, comedian KK Mwenyewe. The guy died struggling to survive, despite being a household name that once trended across the nation.
Even Riggy G โ the very man KK idolized, mimicked, and gave life to in skits โ never once acknowledged him. This sense of entitlement that many of us carry around like itโs a national ID needs to be buried next to common sense. Because truth be told, Gachagua owed KK nothing.
But in a world where you can be anything โ just be kind.
A word clearly missing in Gachaguaโs vocabulary the way vowels are missing in Sudiโs thoughts.
When KK hit rock bottom, only one man stood up โ Andrew Kibe.
Yes, Kibe. The same man many love to hate. When KK dropped out of school for lack of fees, it was Kibe who raised KSh 300,000, bought him a camera and microphone, and gave him the tools to chase his dreams. Kibe, rough edges and all, has a heart warmer than Karen Nyamuโs thighs at State House past midnight. And you know what? He never even bragged about it.
Unlike some politicians who donate salt then call a press conference, Kibe just did it โ and moved on.
But what hurts most is this: Riggy G chose to elevate a woman who coined a nickname for himโฆ and ignored a young man who walked like him, talked like him, breathed like him.
And when things got tough for Riggy G, the same woman Murifeed out of the scene at 280km/h โ leaving behind only dust and disappointment.
My brother, this thing that faces the ground โ nyashikus caviar โ it may just be the death of every broke man with a bicycle. ๐ข
May Yehovah Wanyonyi remember the boychild.
