Fatalities - 19 Girls (+Widespread R**e)

Cause: Boys attacked the girls' dormitory during a strike; fire/chaos resulted

β–ͺ️1997 - Bombolulu Girls Secondary School, Kwale County

Fatalities - 26 Girls

Cause: Suspected arson or electrical). Overcrowding, locked doors, and barred windows worsened the situation

β–ͺ️1999 - Nyeri High School, Nyeri County

Fatalities - 4 Boys

Cause: 4 Prefects locked in a cubicle and set it ablaze with petrol
