Criticism is part of democracy, but facts must also be respected. Under the leadership of DR. Kiarie Badilisha , Nyandarua County has witnessed visible and measurable development across all sectors.
In Kinangop and other parts of the county, major road works are ongoing, including tarmacking of estate roads, drainage improvement, urban renewal projects, and expansion of water connectivity. Markets are being modernized, street lighting projects rolled out, and new infrastructure continues to take shape despite economic challenges facing counties nationally.
In healthcare, the county has constructed and equipped dispensaries, improved hospitals, enhanced access to medical services, and continued supporting residents through medical outreach programs, SHA sensitization, and clearance of long-standing hospital bill cases for vulnerable families.
Farmers have benefited from subsidized fertilizers, machinery services, AI programs, and water projects supporting agriculture and livestock farming. Through FLLoCA and county partnerships, boreholes, water pipelines, and environmental conservation initiatives are transforming communities that previously struggled with water shortages.
Youth empowerment programs, support for welfare groups, ECDE improvement, green kitchen initiatives, and women empowerment projects are also ongoing across wards. These are not promises on paper but projects visible on the ground.
Leadership should be judged fairly and objectively. Challenges may exist, as in every government, but it is dishonest to ignore the significant progress made under Governor Badilishaβs administration. Nyandarua is moving forward through development, partnerships, and service delivery focused on improving the lives of wananchi.
The people can see the work, the projects, and the transformation happening across the county.
