Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of interacting with and empowering 673 groups across Makueni County — groups of women, youth, men, and Persons with Disabilities.
Through these groups, over 2,000 households have directly benefited from practical, sustainable Economic Empowerment Programs.
Together, we have worked on:
• Poultry farming trainings
• Vertical kitchen gardens
• Bee keeping
• Table banking and financial empowerment
• Water tanks and water harvesting initiatives
And I want to be very clear:
The boychild and our men are part of this journey.
For too long, they have been left out of empowerment programs — yet they are pillars of our families, our economy, and our community strength.
Going forward, no one will be forgotten. Everyone matters.
As we look toward 2027, if given the honour to serve as Woman Representative for Makueni County, I am ready to scale this work with even more dedication.
My number one priority is water harvesting — because water unlocks farming, business, food security, health, and dignity.
That’s why the Water Tanks Program will be at the centre of my agenda for every household — women, men, youth, and PWDs included.
To the people of Makueni:
I humbly ask for your support.
Let’s build a county where every family has opportunity, where no group is left behind, and where our sons and daughters can thrive equally.
Together, we will make Makueni proud. 💛🌾💧
