My BROTHER... πŸ˜„πŸ˜‚πŸ€©πŸ˜

When your wife says, β€œLeave me alone,” don’t you dare take it literally. NO, DON’T TRY IT! πŸ˜†

She doesn’t really mean it. She wants you to stay right there, talk softly, calm her down and show that you care. ❀️

Because if you actually walk away, she’ll come back with, β€œSo you can just leave me when I’m angry, eh?” 😏

My guy, this test is not hard at all. Very easy! 😁

She says β€œgo,” you stay.
She says β€œleave,” you hold her tighter.
She says β€œdon’t touch me,” you pull her even closer, chest to chest! πŸ˜†πŸ€—

Marriage is not English comprehension, my brother. NO. It’s a heart-to-heart, spiritual course.

May our marriages stand strong. Can I hear an AMEN? πŸ˜„πŸ™

Heartbreak as Engineer Jay and Wife Maggie Laid to Rest in Kitale

A cloud of sorrow hangs over Kitale today as family, friends, and colleagues gather at the couple’s farm to bid a final farewell to Engineer Jay and his beloved wife, Maggie. Their sudden and tragic deaths have left the nation in shock and deep mourning.

The heartbreaking sequence began when Maggie was involved in a road accident near Gilgil while traveling to Nairobi.

Her husband, Engineer Jay, who was in Nairobi at the time, was immediately informed of the accident. In a desperate rush to reach her, he set off for Gilgil with his younger brother.

Upon arrival, they found Maggie in a critical state. Determined to save her, Jay quickly organized for an ambulance to transport her to Nairobi for specialized treatment. He accompanied her alongside a nurse, while his brother followed in another car.

But tragedy struck again. On the way, the ambulance was involved in yet another accident. The driver, the nurse, and Maggie lost their lives instantly, while Jay, who sustained severe injuries, passed away three hours later.

The couple’s deaths have left a huge void. Jay was celebrated for his skill, integrity, and excellence in engineering, while Maggie, a dedicated officer at the Central Bank of Kenya, had served the institution faithfully for 29 years.

Today, the two are being laid to rest side by side β€” together in life, and now united in death β€” surrounded by loved ones still struggling to come to terms with the devastating loss.

Heartfelt condolences to their family, friends, and colleagues. May their souls rest in perfect peace. ❀️

Ladies and gentlemen, look here... πŸ‘€

Safaricom MUST bring down M-Pesa transaction charges! ✊🏾 Enough is enough.

For years, these charges have remained ridiculously high β€” even as millions more Kenyans joined the platform. M-Pesa was meant to empower, not exploit us! πŸ’Έ

Peter Ndegwa himself admits that Kenyans make over 150 million transactions every single day, worth around $250 million.

Now think about it β€” if Safaricom β€œaccidentally” added just 0.5 bob to each transaction, that’s a shocking 75 million shillings in ONE DAY! 😑

We cannot stay silent while hardworking Kenyans are overcharged in the name of convenience. It’s time to speak up and demand fair charges for all!

May as many as are of this opinion say Aaaaiiiiii! πŸ’―πŸ”₯

Sisal Farming Episode 3:
How Much Can You Earn from 1 Acre of Sisal?

1️⃣ Plant Population
With a spacing of 1m x 1.5m, an acre carries about 2,500–3,000 sisal plants.

2️⃣ Expected Yield
A mature sisal plant produces 200–250 leaves in its 7–10 year life.
Each leaf gives 2.5–3% fibre.
Once established (from year 3), an acre can produce 1.5–2 tons of dry fibre per year, for 7–10 years.

3️⃣ Market Prices (Kenya 2024–2025)
Dry fibre sells at Ksh 100–150 per kg, depending on grade and buyer.

4️⃣ Earnings per Acre
1,500–2,000 kg fibre annually.
At Ksh 100/kg β†’ Ksh 150,000–200,000.
At Ksh 150/kg β†’ Ksh 225,000–300,000.

πŸ“Œ Takeaway
Returns are low in the first 2–3 years as plants mature.
After that, you enjoy steady income for 7–10 years.
Extra cash can also come from by-products like poles, ropes, mats, crafts, and even biofuel.

πŸ‘‰ In short, one acre of sisal can give you Ksh 150,000–300,000 every year once established, depending on how well you manage it.

Stay tuned for Episode 4… nawapenda sana 😘😍

Sisal Farming Episode 2:

How to Start Sisal Farming (Small Scale)

1. Land Preparation
Sisal grows best in semi-arid areas like Makueni.
Clear the land and dig pits about 1–1.5m apart.
Avoid waterlogged soils; sisal hates standing water.

2. Planting
Use suckers or bulbils (young sisal shoots). (If you can get them from DWA, the better).
Plant during the rainy season for better establishment.
Once rooted, sisal can survive on minimal rainfall.

3. Care & Maintenance
W**d at least 2–3 times a year until plants mature.
Apply manure or minimal fertilizer if possible, though sisal tolerates poor soils.
Harvest starts around 3 years, with leaves cut every 6–8 months.

4. Harvesting & Processing
Cut mature leaves from the bottom, leaving younger ones at the top.
You need a decorticator machine (or take leaves to a nearby processing centre).

Practical Tip for You in Makueni:
Start small, maybe 1–2 acres, and join a local sisal farmers’ group (ask through your ward agricultural officer).
These companies will take you seriously when you can bulk produce with others, since transport and processing are expensive for small volumes.

Also consider selling sisal ropes, mats, or twine locally if you don’t have enough to supply big firms yet.
