NYARWENG DINKA SECTIONS.
Nyarweng is a Dinka section currently inhabited part of Duk County in Jonglei State.
Among the 7 Payams of Duk County, Nyarweng has 4 Payams these include;
1). Ageer Payam
2). Panyang Payam
3). Payuel Payam (Duk Payuel Payam).
4) Kadiang payam
Nyarweng is divided into two major sub sections;
1). Nyarweng Athoon/Athɔɔn
2). Nyarweng Ageer.
Nyarweng Athoon is divided into the following;
1). Paan ë Man Lual
2). Paan ë Göl (Paan Angok Buny)
3). Wut Nyaying (Paan Buɔ̈i and Riëm).
Nyarweng Athoon occupied the areas of Duk Panyang.
Nyarweng Ageer is divided into the following;
1). Bëkaar
2). Abiook/Abiɔɔk
Bekaar is divided into the following;
1). Ajuëëny
2). Wut Mar Lual (Sometime call Pawaai).
Ajueeny is divided into the following;
1). Ajor/Ajör
2). Wut Payaath (Pareng inclusive).
Ajor/Ajör is divided into the following;
1). Pabot
2). Dala
3). Muon/Muɔn
Wut Payaath is divided into the following;
1). Payath
2). Pareng
Wut Mar is divided into the following;
1). Paan Abiel
2). Paan Waai
3). Paan Ngor
Abiok/Abiɔɔk is divided into the following;
1). Lok
2). Athikwuot/Athïkwuɔ̈t
Lok is divided into the following;
1). Panääk
2). Kuëi
3). Aringi
Athikwuot is divided into the following;
1). Paluaal
2). Mër
3). Pagääc
Initially Nyarweng was bordering Padang Dinka sections of Rut, Luäc, Thoi and Paweny before they were displaced by Lou Nuer (Cien Däk) from current Wunroor/Uror areas.
Most of Nyarweng Dinka sections are believed to be from Padang Dinka as per their dialects.
