BETRAYAL IN THE CITY
Mulili (Kimani) : The man, Kabito (Gachagua), be a troublemaker. At the entertainment committee meeting, he abuse me in front of everybody. He say I be all milk – white inside my head. He say there be nothing in my skull. Call me illiterate!
Boss (Ruto) : Kabito (Gachagua) did that?
Mulili: Yes, Boss. In front of all them people. I keep quiet, but inside, fire be burning. He think because he old friend of the government, he can talk like that. The man is a rebel, Boss.
Boss: This is serious. What else?
Mulili: He talk bad about the government. He say the government is wasting money on the entertainment committee, while citizens be suffering. He insult the powers that be, Boss. I fear what might come next if he continues like this.
Boss: Such talk can’t be tolerated. Kabito must be dealt with. You have done well to inform me.
Mulili: Boss, we can’t let people like Kabito go on like this. He could poison the whole country with his talk. I only thought it good to warn you, Boss, because I serve you with loyalty. Whatever you decide, I stand by you.
