Dawn’s Gentle Whisper

Dawn unfolds in a symphony of light,
Colors ignite as shadows take flight.
Hope rises, dreams find their place,
A new day awakens, filled with grace.

A sparrow sings in the sun’s warm glow,
Blossoms unfurl, vibrant hues aglow.
Breathe in the day, let your spirit soar,
Leave yesterday behind—embrace what's in store.

Each step you take ignites dreams anew,
A thrilling journey awaits, just for you.
So lift your eyes and embrace the delight,
This day is a treasure, shining and bright.

Morning is more than the sun in the sky—
It’s *you*, crafting stories as moments fly by.
Rise and shine, dear soul—*you* are the dawn’s blaze!

Praying for the people of Goma, DRC. May God bring peace and order to this beautiful city, protect the men, women, and children, and shield them from harm. I pray for an end to conflict, that those who seek to destroy will disappear, and that the spirit of greed will be broken. May justice, safety, and restoration prevail. Lord, set the people of Goma free.

God Builds with Burnt Stones

In the shadow of exile, where ashes still cling,
A city lies fractured, a fallen crown.
Charred remnants of temples, the sparrow’s lone wing—
Whispers of flame where God’s silence hangs down.

A cupbearer’s hands, once steady with wine,
Now cradle a trowel, a blueprint of tears.
He kneels in the dust, tracing calligraphy of prayer,
Mapping the wounds of a thousand lost years.

*Rebuild,* murmurs the Spirit, though stones bear the scars
Of siege fires that swallowed the dreams of the old.
Each crack holds a psalm, each fracture a star—
For ruin is the clay when the Potter takes hold.

The mockers spit venom: *Can scorched rock be raised?*
*Will dust chant hosannas to prop up these walls?*
But the hands of the broken, in faith, lift their praise—
A mosaic of grace where the Rebuilder calls.

For God does not barter with marble unmarred;
He gathers the shards where the meek and burnt kneel.
The stones, once discarded, now rise, battle-scarred—
A fortress of mercy, His signature steel.

So let the world marvel at spires reborn,
At towers that climb where the darkness once groaned.
The City of Peace wears a crown of split thorns—
For God builds His kingdom with burnt, bloodied stone.

It’s truly astonishing how the Church and its leaders are mocked by many. Yet, we must remember the powerful words of Jesus: “I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it” (Matthew 16:18). Nothing—no amount of criticism or attack—can stop the Church from fulfilling its divine purpose.

Yes, the people within the Church are imperfect. We are human, and with humanity comes flaws. But God has given us a code of conduct rooted in honor. Honor for God, honor for His servants, and honor for one another. When we embrace this principle, we reflect the character of Christ, showing respect and love even when we disagree or face challenges.

The Church is not just a building; it is the Body of Christ, a community of believers called to grow, serve, and glorify God together. We thrive when we stay connected, finding strength, encouragement, and accountability in fellowship. As members of the Body, let us be committed to nurturing unity, extending grace, and walking in honor as a testimony of our faith.

May we remain faithful, standing firm with the assurance that God’s Church is unshakable and victorious—forever advancing His kingdom.

One of the busiest days in a church is New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Is it necessary to start the year on a positive note with God in worship? Will God not bless our year if we don’t worship him on January 1st? Also, we make many New Year’s resolutions to change our lives. Is this a good practice? What are the benefits of a New Year’s resolution, and have you made one? Check out the answers to these questions in this podcast.

In lack the children of Israel were complaining. In plenty they made idols for themselves. That's just us as humans.
We make idols in wealth and complain low key or high key.
I'm grateful and I have made a decision that I will bless the Lord at all times and his praise shall continually be in my mouth, for all things work for good with Christ.

Christmas is here. During this season, we celebrate the birth of a man who lived more than 2000 years ago. Many other people are also celebrated. However, none has stood the test of time while at the same time being as widely celebrated as Christ. Why so? Unlike the others, we go out of our way to celebrate someone who, by all accounts, seemed quite insignificant at the time of his death. Looking into history as told in the gospels, we read of how Christ confessed that he had nowhere to lay his head (Matthew 8:20).

One of the main lessons encapsulated in a sermon is the link and the summary.

https://youtu.be/GCeAaf-yIqU?si=pXVVVqvXx125LMnQ

The source describes **seven capitals**, which are spiritual and character qualities, that are more valuable than money itself and, when all present, work together to generate wealth. The source emphasizes that these capitals are **true riches**, while money is described as **unrighteous mammon** which is unstable and fleeting.

The capitals work together in the following ways to produce lasting wealth:

* **Meekness**: Being humble and teachable allows a person to learn from others and gain access to opportunities and resources they might otherwise miss out on.
* **Competence**: Developing skills makes a person valuable to others, leading to positions of authority and responsibility where they manage resources.
* **Credibility**: A good name and reputation open doors that money cannot. People are more likely to trust and do business with someone who is known for their integrity.
* **Light**: Knowledge, wisdom, and understanding allow a person to see and seize opportunities that others miss.
* **Favor**: This intangible quality attracts the goodwill of others, leading to unexpected gifts, opportunities, and promotions.
* **Relationships**: Strategic connections with the right people create opportunities for advancement and prosperity.
* **Anointing**: The source defines this as "the power to get wealth". This spiritual empowerment enhances all the other capitals, accelerating their wealth-generating power.

The source emphasizes that **all seven capitals must be present** for a person to experience true and lasting prosperity. The speaker uses the analogy of a lake that can dry up versus an ocean that is constantly replenished by multiple streams. Similarly, if a person relies only on money (unrighteous mammon) their wealth can be lost. However, **when all seven capitals are present, they create a system that consistently attracts wealth from multiple sources**.

The source concludes by encouraging listeners to **focus on developing these seven capitals** rather than chasing money. This shift in mindset will ultimately lead to greater and more sustainable prosperity.
