ROOFTOP SPORTS CLUB STANDS WITH THE HARAMBEE STARLETS 🇰🇪

It’s Match Day and the energy across the nation is electric!

Our very own Harambee Starlets are set to face The Gambia this Friday, October 24, 2025, at Nyayo Stadium, kickoff at 4:00 PM, in what promises to be a thrilling 2026 WAFCON Qualifier showdown. And yes, you can count on the Rooftop Sports Club family to be right there loud, proud, and painted in the colors of Kenya.

For us, this isn’t just football. It’s national pride on display. It’s a moment when dreams, discipline, and determination come together on the turf. The Starlets have carried the Kenyan flag with dignity, courage, and flair and now it’s our turn to carry the drum, the song, and the spirit that fuels them forward.

We’ll be there to , to fill every corner of Nyayo with chants, laughter, and unwavering support. The red and white won’t just be colors they’ll be emotions, stitched together by a shared love for our nation and its heroes.

At Rooftop Sports Club, we believe that football is more than a game, it’s a bridge between people, a symbol of resilience, and a celebration of identity. Supporting our own is not just a gesture of goodwill; it’s our way of saying we belong here, we believe, and we back our own.

Here is Mr. Stephen Mbari. Mbari Kezman

When the Rooftop Sports Club bus rolled into Simteret, few knew they were about to witness a midfield masterclass. And at the heart of it all stood Mr. Stephen Mbari our very own First Gentleman cool, composed, and dangerous with the ball at his feet.

From the first whistle, he commanded the midfield like a general in full control of his troops. Every touch was deliberate, every pass poetic, and every nutmeg a statement. He wasn’t just playing football he was hosting a clinic.

The poor boys of Simteret FC had no idea what hit them. One by one, they were sent chasing shadows as Mbari glided through with the elegance of a man who clearly meant business. By halftime, whispers had turned to laughter and disbelief.

You could hear the fans shouting his nickname across the touchline “Ka Njeri! Ka Njeri! Ule namba nane!” The name echoed every time he danced past a defender or delivered one of his trademark assists. And speaking of assists three of them came straight from his boots that day.

Of course, there was that one missed penalty a moment that had the crowd gasping but by then, he had already done enough damage to earn their respect (and a few nightmares for the defenders).

The most amusing part? Word has it that he hadn’t slept the previous night. So, the fans still joke in disbelief:

“If that’s how he plays when sleepy, what would happen if he was fully rested? Ewooo!”

To this day, Simteret FC fans still remember that afternoon with a mix of admiration and mild trauma. They talk about the day Ka Njeri, the First Gentleman, came to town the day the midfield became a runway, and the ball, his dance partner.

Our very own CEO, a man who doesn’t just lead from the boardroom but also commands the midfield with the calm assurance of a seasoned general.

From the moment the whistle blew, Masese took charge of the game like a man on a mission. Every pass found its mark, every move had intent, and every decision spoke of experience. He didn’t chase the game the game seemed to revolve around him. The crowd, never one to stay silent, was quick to notice. You could hear voices from the sidelines saying, “Uyu anacheza k**a Mbeumo kabisa, ona ata looks yake, tofauti ni nchi tu.”

But it wasn’t just his performance that won hearts it was his personality. He interacted warmly with fans, cracked jokes, and even led them in brief singing sessions. His easy laughter and down-to-earth charm blurred the line between player and supporter. Before long, the fans had embraced him fully, even giving him a new name in their own lugha ya home "Shemeji" a title spoken with affection and familiarity.

As the game wore on, Masese continued to be the steady rhythm of the team. When spirits dipped, he lifted them. When play got tense, his calm presence steadied everyone around him. He wasn’t just the midfield marshal; he was the team’s emotional compass part strategist, part motivator, part choir master.

By the final whistle, one thing was clear the village hadn’t just hosted a football team, they had met a leader who could inspire both on and off the field. And long after the match ended, people still spoke of Shemeji Masese the CEO who led with skill, humility, and a touch of magic that no one saw coming.

Back in Kapsabet, Nandi County, she was the storm that left the boys spinning in confusion. The match had barely settled when she began her dance with the ball quick feet, clever turns, and those ruthless nutmegs that left even the confident ones rethinking their life choices.

Spectators could hardly believe what they were witnessing. Some gasped, others laughed, and a few just stood there shaking their heads in disbelief. You could hear whispers across the field “Cheki uyu msichana anachenga vijana k**a kitu kidogo.” And they were right. She didn’t just play; she performed.

Poor Mr. Kibet Reinhard took the worst of it. After being nutmegged more than once, he finally raised his hand for substitution, choosing dignity over further embarrassment. The crowd roared in amusement, and even his teammates couldn’t hide their laughter.

To this day, the fans from that village still talk about that match. They remember the energy, the laughter, and the spirit Rooftop Sports Club brought with them not just in the game but also through their CSR activities that touched the hearts of many.
