In this season of waiting, I often felt anxious and overwhelmed—especially when I compared myself to my peers and wondered if time had run out for me.But God remained my anchor, gently reminding me of His promises in Isaiah 60:22, Psalm 34:5–8, and Isaiah 55:8–11."When the time is right, you will know."Those words echoed in my heart every time anxiety crept in....

Ecclesiastes 3 is a beautiful reminder that every season has a reason. 🌿
Instead of rushing to the next chapter of life, let’s embrace and make the most of the one we’re in now. Some seasons may feel overwhelming or burdensome, but hold on and keep hope alive.

Matthew 6:25–34 reminds us not to worry about tomorrow, because God is in control. Waiting is not about spending all your energy anticipating the next thing—it’s about growing in every area of life and faith. 💛

Keep the faith, and remember: when the time is right, you will know—just as God promises in Isaiah 60:22, “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

When you yield to the flesh, distraction and destruction follow.
But when you yield to the Spirit, you grow and walk in alignment with God.

Take David for example: the moment he yielded to the desires of the flesh with Bathsheba, he lost focus, made poor decisions, and suffered the consequences. His intimacy with God was deeply affected.

Now think of Adam and Eve. They too gave in to the voice of the flesh—the serpent’s lie—and everything changed. Their closeness with God was disrupted, and shame entered their story.

In both cases, yielding to the flesh brought separation, sorrow, and distraction.
But the Spirit always leads to life and growth.

Food for Thought
Matthew 6:33–34
As I reflect on this Scripture, I’m beginning to see why God calls us to seek Him first. So often, we get caught up in chasing things—provision, success, relationships—and lose sight of what truly matters. These things aren’t bad, but without a strong foundation in Him, they can become distractions that pull us away from His will.

When God is at the center, everything else begins to align. One day at a time, with Him leading the way.

Surrender is a word I have tried to fathom from time to time. As I traverse this season of waiting, I thought I had completely understood what it means to surrender. Boy, was I wrong! I naturally like things to be done in a certain way. I prefer tasks to be completed at a specific time. When things don’t pan out as planned, I lose my cool....

As I continue my journey through this wilderness season, I feel broken, much like the Israelites in the desert. Instead of looking to God for provision and guidance, I’ve found myself murmuring and grumbling. My heart has been filled with frustration, and I've allowed the worries of the world to consume me, pushing me further away from the One who created me....

Life can feel overwhelming at times, but worrying won’t change a thing. As Matthew 6:27 reminds us: Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”

Instead of letting troubles weigh you down, rise up and focus on God. Surrender your burdens to Him, trust in His plan, and find strength in His presence. Keep moving forward, knowing He’s got you every step of the way.
