Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has accused ODM Chairperson and Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, as well as other senior party leaders, including Senator Oburu Odinga, of failing to pick calls from party members, arguing that this lack of communication is symptomatic of broader leadership failures rather than issues caused by figures like Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.

Speaking in a recent media appearance, Alai warned that ODM risks collapse if the voices of young members and frontline party officials are ignored, insisting that the party must prepare for the post-Raila Odinga era and refrain from treating it as a family inheritance.
