Manheim Borough Homicide Suspect Michael Boccia Found Dead in Alabama After Fatal Shooting of Keshia M. Gonzalez

A multi-state manhunt ended Monday night when 36-year-old Michael Anthony Boccia of York, Pennsylvania, was found dead from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound in Cullman, Alabama. Boccia was the prime suspect in the domestic-related fatal shooting of 37-year-old Keshia M. Gonzalez earlier that morning.
Manheim Borough police responded to an apartment in the first block of North Main Street around 7:30 AM after neighbors reported hearing gunfire and a woman screaming for help. Officers discovered Gonzalez on the second floor, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; she was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses observed Boccia fleeing in a maroon sedan, prompting authorities to issue an "armed and dangerous" warning.

Following the killing, Boccia called family members stating he had "done something bad" before calling the police department at 11:00 PM threatening su***de. Authorities tracked his phone to Alabama, where local police discovered his body inside his vehicle. The Alabama State Bureau of Investigation has launched an independent inquiry into his death, while Pennsylvania officials confirm there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Alexis Hernandez, 25, had been renting a room from Hector Rios for six months when he says things started to unravel. He told deputies he could hear voices coming through the vents. He believed Rios was stalking him, planting cameras inside the light fixtures.

Then came the cockroach. Hernandez told deputies he received an encrypted message inside it. The message told him to k*ll Rios. And he said the fact that Rios didn't like cockroaches confirmed it.

Deputies arrived after 10 p.m. to reports of gunfire. Hernandez was standing outside with a G***k on his waistband and a Marine Corps Sabre on his hip. Inside, two men were d*ad. Children were in the home. One child was heard yelling for help in Spanish.

Hernandez told deputies he sh*t Rios in the head, then walked back to his Honda Pilot to reload, then returned to sh**t both men again.

He denied ever being diagnosed with schizophrenia or any mental health disorder. He is charged with two open counts of m*rder and will remain in jail until trial.

Do you think he actually believes that?

South Carolina Jury Acquits Store Owner Chikei “Rick” Chow in Shooting of 14-Year-Old Cyrus Carmack-Belton as Defense Attorney Shaun C. Kent Faces Intense Backlash

A South Carolina jury has found convenience store owner Chikei “Rick” Chow, 61, not guilty of murder in the 2023 shooting death of 14-year-old Cyrus Carmack-Belton. The verdict has sparked widespread outrage and an immediate wave of online cancellation against defense attorney Shaun C. Kent.

Chow chased the Black teenager over 130 yards from his store under the false suspicion of shoplifting bottled water—an accusation investigators proved was entirely baseless. Prosecutors stated Carmack-Belton was shot in the back while running away, and independent witnesses testified he never threatened anyone. However, defense attorney Shaun Kent successfully argued Chow acted in self-defense after the teen allegedly pointed a pistol at Chow's son.

The verdict left the Carmack-Belton family in tears, prompting state representative and family attorney Todd Rutherford to announce an immediate civil lawsuit. As protests renew outside the storefront, the family vows to keep fighting for justice.
