50 years after the legendary DJ Kool Herc spun that first record and sparked a cultural revolution, we present to you 50 TO INFINITY…A journey through the pillars of Hip-Hop culture; from DJing, to Graffiti, Breakdance, MCing, Street Fashion, Knowledge and more.

Presenting an impeccable line-up of DJs, live Hip-Hop artists, B-Boys & Girls, Graffiti crews and MC battles, we are bringing it all together at the Nairobi National Museum on Saturday August 12th from 5PM TILL LATE.

Hip-hop started with DJs and street poets with great lyrical skills, and that’s what hip-hop has always been about for us. 7th May we have one of the hardest events yet.... presents..Jazz beats and Boombap, Producer's Cut edition exhibiting the masterpieces from Dj Premier and Pete Rock. These Legendary DJs-turned-producing giants of sound have worked on the same albums, giving New York Hip-Hop an identity, a swagger, and an everlasting ruggedness. Each producer has made contributions to Hiphop in ways few can match. “Preemo” and “The Chocolate Boy Wonder” are the epitome of prolific perfectionists. One is recognized for perhaps the best drum programming in Hip-Hop history, while the other mastered the rhythmic scratch. Each keep their fingers dusty, and have cult-like status after more than 50 combined years in the music. This edition one for the record books as these are cornerstones of the culture.

UPDATE: J Dilla’s handprint is literally on so much of Hip-Hop music that one could listen to his music for days on end. Each February, he is fondly remembered by DJs, artists, poets and those who appreciated his musical genius. Tributes to J Dilla are happening throughout the world as well and In efforts to ensure we have our annual Dilla Day we have switched the venue to 1297 Olenguruone Rd, Lavington. We are keen on delivering an amazing experience!! The crew is ready to serve donuts and goosebumps all Saturday. Come early needle drops at 2pm.
