OFFICIAL STATEMENT BY DR. FRED OKENG’O MATIANG’I ON THE ENDORSEMENT BY THE PEOPLE AND LEADERS OF MERU COUNTY.

It is with profound gratitude and a deep sense of national unity that I acknowledge the unwavering support declared by the esteemed people of Meru County and the visionary leaders of our coalition partners. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Party of National Unity (PNU), under the exemplary leadership of former Cabinet Secretary Hon Peter G. Munya,EGH ; the Jubilee Party, ably represented by Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni; the United Progressive Alliance (UPA); the Kenya Social Congress (KSC); and the People's Democratic Party (PDP), and many more that I have not mentioned for their bold endorsement of my presidential candidature in the 2027 elections.

This resounding show of confidence is a powerful embrace of the core values that define our shared aspirations: unyielding integrity, tireless diligence, and a results-driven approach to leadership that prioritizes the welfare of all Kenyans. Meru County has historically been a beacon of wisdom and resilience in shaping our nation's destiny, and once again, you have demonstrated your steadfast commitment to progress, inclusivity, and the greater good.

I assure you that this momentous declaration marks the dawn of an even stronger partnership. We will convene additional forums to deepen our consultations, solidify our networks, and ensure that the pulse of this transformative movement resonates in every village and community across Meru and beyond. Together, we are constructing an unbreakable coalition that transcends ethnic, regional, and political divides, uniting all Kenyans in pursuit of a brighter future.
