Man in kitale Allegedly K!lls Married Woman for Rejecting Him.. and k!lls himself too

In a tragic incident in Kibomet, on the outskirts of Kitale town, a 35-year-old woman, Sally Sitawa Saenyi, was brutally murdered in her husband’s house by a man identified as Patrick Silali Barasa, popularly known in the streets as Jeff.

The victim’s father, Justus Saenyi, was overwhelmed with grief and disbelief, telling reporters that Jeff had been persistently making unwanted advances toward his daughter, despite knowing she had been married for over 12 years. “He was obsessed. My daughter told me last week that Jeff had threatened to kill her if she didn’t agree to be his girlfriend. She even went to Naisambu Police Post and reported that the man said the knife to kill her was ready,” he said.

But the police, apparently did nothing. Not even a courtesy follow-up call. Justus lamented that their silence cost his daughter her life. The suspect, who was reportedly a taxi driver in Nairobi, didn’t even pretend to hide his intentions. He travelled to Kitale on Thursday, June 19 and executed the crime just two days later, stabbing Sally three times: twice in the neck and once in the back.

Neighbours rushed Sally to Cherang’any Nursing Home, but by then, her soul had already joined the others As the family mourned, police sprang into action, finally. A manhunt was launched, and for a moment it looked like justice was limping its way to redemption. But then fate, the suspect’s lifeless body was found in a lodging in Moi’s Bridge, just a few kilometres from the scene of the crime. He had reportedly taken his own life, denying the courts the chance to ask the favourite question: “Kwa nini ulifanya hivyo?”

Kiminini Sub-County Police Commander John Onditi confirmed the tragic update, saying officers had identified the body and transferred it to the same mortuary as Sally's. Even in death, the two couldn’t be too far apart..

Akothee is asking the government to protect women from bitter ex boyfriends/husbands who end up sharing their private VITUs after bitter break up. The same Akothee is always exposing those private things to us for free.
I agree both women and men need to be protected, but before that people like Akothee should learn to protect their vitus first. They should learn to respect themselves first . let private things remain private. you can't ask the government to protect things you have been showing us for free.

Otherwise I leave you with kitale proverb that says "A w0man whose nyasshhh does not shake while brushing teeth should never complain of polygamy"
