We thank Br. Tom Redmond, SM for the services , he has offered to our region. Today we were saying farewell to him. May God continue using him and may he continue allowing himself to be used. He was so instrumental in formation of the Lay Marianist and Religious. 🙏🙏🙏. Safe journey as you will be traveling back to US.

🌅 Easter Vigil 2025 | Marianist Family, Nairobi

On Holy Saturday, April 19, the Marianist Family gathered at the Regional House for a solemn and joyful Easter Vigil. Led by Br. Stephen Wanyoike, SM, and other Marianist priests, the celebration began with the lighting of the Easter Candle and a moving procession into the chapel.
Highlights included the chanting of the Exsultet by Br. Fredrick Ayoo, nine powerful readings, uplifting music from the Novitiate Choir, and a homily reminding all that Christ, the risen Lord, is with us even in tribulations.
A special moment was the consecration of five women as Lay Marianists: Anjelina Ayuko, Christine Wandera, Christine Soita, Roseline Odongo, and Judith Sagwe.
The night ended with shared meals, Easter greetings, and a gentle rain — a symbolic blessing of the Risen Lord!

He is Risen! Alleluia! ✨

As a Marianist Scholasticate Community, we had a memorial Mass on Friday, showing solidarity with the Church as she mourns the demise of the holy Father, Pope Francis.
Eternal grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
