UNLOCK THE ACADEMIC GIANT IN YOUR CHILD!

When I started going to school as a child, I had no much regard for academic pursuits. I was content with learning how to draw and making imaginary melodies on my red toy piano, which my dad had bought for me. It seemed I was born to be an artist.

School was such a dreaded experience for me. I had no motivation whatsoever. It was a place I had to go because my parents gave me no choice. My grades suffered. I represented well at the bottom of the pile.

One end-of-term season in grade five, I had an interaction with a student that shifted the course of my entire life. It was a simple conversation with a friend who was a prolific top student, and always bagged all the goodies on prize-giving day. A real envy among peers.

What started as a simple congratulatory gesture on my side earned me a thorough dressing down from my top student friend, who thought bottom-tier academic dwarfs like me were not entitled to have opinions. He said something akin to the fact that I was a contaminant to the academic aura of the elite few topping the school.

So much for friendship! I curled my tail between my legs and disappeared into the bottom crowd, where I blended seamlessly. Some destinies blossom gradually, while others are provoked! That conversation provoked me to question my potential. Did the top students have a different blood type? Were they human beings or genetically modified creatures?

One year later, I was topping my classes. The journey to academic excellence had begun in earnest. What seemed impossible before was now possible. Now I had the motivation, and would go on to build the necessary disciplines required to give me the results I craved. The child who was considered a “foolish student” ended up becoming an engineer and a teacher of many today.

I have been coaching so many students over the years to help them get better results in school, and the outcomes have always been satisfactory. Being a passionate lifelong learner has taught me a lot about optimising the learning process, the science of learning, memory skills, use of A. I in learning, and mindsets that guarantee peak performance in academics or any other field of pursuit.

Our education system promotes learning without teaching the learners how to learn. This is one of the gaps I bridge as a coach to make life easy for my students. I have seen this work exceedingly well for my children, who have always been faithful guinea pigs in my many learning experiments. Today, they enjoy good results and always come up top in their classes.

Your child is not stupid. They can unlock the full potential of their abilities quite easily. A little help, a little peak performance coaching can help them ace their exams.
