The 'Ostrich Mother' in Job 39 is enticed by her capacity for speed. She seeks progress outside of her home and children. She goes out there to compete with 'horses' and actually wins the race, but she abandons her children in the process. She neglects what is most important for what gives her public applause.

A mother doesn't stay with her children because she's less gifted or has less capacity. She stays because she has gained Godly wisdom that her children are more important than anything else.
