At only 17 years old, he delivered a heartfelt tribute at the state funeral of his father, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, Kenya’s founding president. The atmosphere was heavy with sorrow as the country mourned a leader who had guided Kenya through its first 15 years of independence.
Standing beside his mother, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, the teenager appeared somber and composed during this national tragedy. His presence at the podium marked a poignant moment in history, signaling the end of an era and the beginning of a transition to the presidency of Daniel arap Moi.
Decades later, as Kenya’s 4th President, Uhuru often reflected on his father’s vision. He frequently emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and the ongoing struggle against poverty and disease. That day in 1978 not only shaped the personal life of a young man but also left an enduring mark on the collective memory of the nation.

Turns out one couple allegedly knew about the Njugush and Wakavinye's infidelity saga, Terence Creative and Milly Chebby.

Celestine Ndinda on 13th March this year posted a video and Terence commented "Nice nails".

According to BNN, a source close to them overheard Milly Chebby talking about how Njugush has also been allegedly cheating. The exact words, "Mbona Njugush anaumwa Cele akifanya the same thing he has been doing".

In other stories, the nail tech guy that was the one allege to be having an affair with Celestine is said to be married.

Meet Kenyan Dad Who Chose to Deport Himself After 16 Years in the US

It has been seven months since Kenyan man Samuel Kangethe made the painful decision to leave the US and return to Kenya on his own terms amid rising immigration crackdowns.

Kangethe self deported in August 2025 after living in the US for 15 years. He first arrived in 2009 on a student visa, studying at Lansing Community College and later at Northwood University. Over the years, he built a life in Michigan and worked as an accountant for the state.

A long running immigration court case tied to his first marriage created uncertainty about his future in America. Immigration officials had alleged the marriage was fraudulent, leading to a court battle that was delayed during the COVID-19 pandemic and later dropped from the court docket in 2023 without a judge issuing a ruling.

As Trump administation-led immigration enforcement intensified across the US, Kangethe believed he fit the profile of individuals authorities could target next.

Rather than live in fear or hide, he chose to leave voluntarily. He felt that hiding would have meant missing his children’s games, school events, and important milestones. He questioned how a father could protect and provide for his family while living in hiding.

Kangethe left behind his wife of seven years, Latavia, and their three children, ages 13, 11, and 5. The separation has brought emotional and financial strain.

Six months later, his absence continues to be deeply felt by his family in Michigan as they adjust to life across two countries. He shared his story as a reminder that behind immigration headlines are real families, parents, and children navigating painful decisions.
