The Community Research and Technical Support Hub partnered with community-led organizations in implementing HIV programming to use program data to determine trends, gaps, and opportunities in implementation over the last 5 years, and to look at gaps in device uptake during the COVID pandemic.
Last month, our community and academic partners presented on the process we undertook in developing the Hub ( preprint: https://lnkd.in/dYm9B_sM), learning the database, designing a tool to conduct a rapid assessment during the epidemic, and the collaborative efforts in advancing community participation in the mathematical modelling (HEKA is doing a great deal)
Many thanks to the Principal Investigator Jefferey Wambaya who is the Coordinator for community Research Technical Support Hub. We are grateful to Jedidah Ngene, Fortune Ligare, Ouma, @ Anthony Noah who presented the work on behalf of the community organizations ( Health Research intervention Kuthakimi Afya Ye: Silvano Tabbu, Charles Kyalo, Byron Odhiambo) and to academic partners supporting the Research Hub Nancy Tahmo MPH, Ma, Lisa Lazarus, Robert Lorway, and Sharmistha Mishra.
