Why do we celebrate birthdays? Because people matter. Because YOU matter. 💛 People First.
You see at Hair affair birthdays are sacred. Not because of the parties or the photos —(though we love all of that too 😄), but because it’s a chance to honour the person behind the appointment. The laughter, the stories, the energy they bring to the space. It's about celebrating life, growth, strength, and presence.
Life gets busy. We rush through weeks, we chase goals, we forget to pause. But birthdays remind us to slow down and give people their flowers — not just figuratively, but sometimes with literal balloons, cake, hugs, and good vibes too.
They're about pausing to honour the incredible people who pour so much love, talent and energy into this space.
To my team — my people, my heart…
Every birthday is my reminder to give you your flowers while you’re here. Because I see you. All of you.
The early starts, the tired hands, the gentle touch you give to every client. The laughter you bring to the room. The sisterhood you’ve created without even realising it. You are not just doing hair — you are restoring confidence, creating joy, and changing lives.
I’ve watched you show up, not just for the work, but for each other. I’ve seen the way you hold space for our clients, laugh with them, encourage them, remind them they’re beautiful — sometimes even before they believe it themselves.
You’ve shown up with excellence on days when it was hard to even smile. You’ve comforted clients, cheered each other on, and held this vision with me through every season — and for that, I am deeply, deeply grateful.
This is why we celebrate birthdays.
Not just to mark another year, but to say:
You’re here. You’re important. You’ve made a difference. And your presence in this team, in this family, is nothing short of a blessing.
So when it’s your special day, just know:
It’s not about the size of the celebration — it’s the meaning behind it.
You deserve joy. You deserve to be celebrated. You deserve to be reminded how much you’re valued, not just as a worker — but as a woman, as a sister, as a beautiful soul.
So yes — if it’s a colleagues birthday and you walk through our doors, just know: we’ll be celebrating. Loudly. Joyfully. Personally.
Here’s to more love, more laughter, and more reasons to celebrate you. 🎉
To my Hair Affair family — thank you for everything you are.
I’m proud of you. I celebrate you. I love you.
With all my heart,
Anne 💜
