The Burundian Diaspora in Kenya welcomes the response from the Kenyan government reassuring members of this community.
This video of a biker who was harassing one of our fellow citizens 🇧🇮 had spread fear in the hearts of all Burundians, whether those living in Kenya or those in Burundi.
As you all know, Burundians living in Kenya cause no problems for the Kenyan government or the Kenyan people. On the contrary, they contribute to the development of this country that hosts us.
Every conflict must be resolved through friendly agreement. However, we call on anyone who has an issue with a Burundian living in Kenya to contact the leaders of this community to resolve it amicably and to give advice. If that fails, we then turn to the police or the courts.
The members of the Burundian Diaspora in Kenya reaffirm their commitment to maintaining peace with all Kenyan citizens by making a remarkable contribution to the development of this country.
