The So-called Ahoc-Thon Laat Maker Riak abandoned his first wife for second wife and fake public life
Abraham Laat should stop boasting about other people’s problems while neglecting his own responsibilities. He abandoned his second wife, Aker, with whom he has two children. Aker, a young woman who once dreamed of receiving a better education and building a stable future, instead found herself facing hardship. What was promised to her as a hopeful marriage turned into disappointment and struggle.
Years after their marriage, Aker’s life has reportedly been reduced to survival in difficult conditions. The mother of two now lives in a thatched mud house in Rumbek after allegedly being forced to leave Nairobi, Kenya. Sources told the Watchdog Press that Abraham Laat Maker has shown little sympathy toward his second wife, which is why she was sent back to the village.
Marriage carries responsibility, dignity, and accountability. It is unfair to speak loudly about others while ignoring the suffering within one’s own household. True leadership and integrity begin at home. Until Abraham addresses his responsibilities toward Aker and their children, his criticism of others will continue to ring hollow.
