A week ago, I planned my traditional wedding ceremony—and honestly, the experience was a bit disappointing in some areas.
Being on a budget, I chose to coordinate everything myself and hire different vendors for food, tents, décor, and more. Sounds manageable, right? Well… not quite.
Some of the vendors I worked with (even those highly recommended) had me seriously questioning how they run their businesses. Communication was inconsistent, follow-ups were lacking, and basic customer care seemed like an afterthought.
It made me realize something important: good service isn’t just about delivering a product or service—it’s about how you make your client feel throughout the entire process.
You should walk away feeling confident and valued, not second-guessing your decision to hire someone.
As someone who truly values great customer service, this experience taught me a lot. Lesson learned. 😄
Now I’m curious—what does good communication and customer service look like to you when working with service providers?
