If YOU tell a MAN, “SEND ME TRANSPORT FARE, I’M COMING,” and he SENDS the MONEY in good FAITH.

Then you VANISH, SWITCH OFF your PHONE and never SHOWED UP.

The MAN can TRACK you.

That MAN can actually SUE you. Yes, legally.

This is NOT a JOKE. An AGREEMENT is an AGREEMENT.

If you COLLECT TRANSPORT FARE, you must HONOUR your commitment or FACE legal CONSEQUENCES.

The MAN can SUE you for a REFUND.

So if you HAD no GENUINE INTENTION to honour the VISIT and you took the MONEY, you may be LIABLE for “OBTAINING BY FALSE PRETENCE” under SECTION 419 of the CRIMINAL CODE.

He can also file a CIVIL CASE for BREACH of CONTRACT and even claim DAMAGES for TIME WASTED, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS or EMBARRASSMENT.

It’s not just a “TRANSPORT FARE.” It’s a LEGAL TRANSACTION.

So if YOU’RE NOT going to SHOW up, don’t COLLECT a DIME.

Integrity matters.

A MAN I know very well got MARRIED not too LONG ago.

Just THREE days into the MARRIAGE, he started posting on WhatsApp:
“Marriage sweet oh!”
“Things dey happen oh!”

I just typed in RESPONSE to his WhatsApp story:
"You can’t judge marriage by three days oh. Give it time."

Next thing, I was blocked.

I laugh in maturity.

Let me TELL you the TRUTH, MARRIAGE can be SWEET, but NOT because of what HAPPENS in the HONEYMOON phase or early stage.

The REAL TEST comes when REAL LIFE STARTS, when MISUNDERSTANDING arise, when BILLS pile and when RESPONSIBILITIES knock.

Our marriages must still work, whether or not, but we must face the reality with truth.

I’m not AGAINST EXCITEMENT, oh. I’m just saying:

Don’t rush to post, so you won’t rush to delete.
