This morning, my Office joined the Principal Secretary for Environment and Climate Change, Dr. Eng. Festus Ngeno, to host Hon. Alfred Mutai (MP Kuresoi North) and the Nakuru Deputy Governor, H.E. David Kones, during the Mau Conservation Marathon event.
The event, organized by the Mau Forest Complex Integrated Conservation and Livelihood Improvement Programme under the patronage of the PS, was held at Baringo Secondary School, Sirikwa Ward.
Today's event aimed at creating awareness on the importance of environmental conservation and encouraging community participation in these initiatives. The programme also seeks to support community livelihoods, particularly benefiting farmers through various value chains—enhancing production and improving economic welfare.
