Purpose or Pleasure — The Choice Is Yours

Two roads wind beneath the sun: one shines with gold, the other with soul.
Pleasure is a spark — it warms, then fades;
Purpose is a flame — it burns, then builds.

"He who chases butterflies may miss the harvest."
But "the one who plants with care reaps more than he sows."

Pleasure may sing sweet, but it cannot stay;
Purpose hums low, yet guides the way.

"The tree that grows slow bears the strongest fruit."
"What is easy to get is easy to forget."

So ask your heart, not just your eyes:
Do you want the thrill of now,
or the peace that never dies?

Choose not what passes, but what lasts.
The winds of joy may lift —
but purpose is your mast.

Formation Comes Before Revelation

In a world hungry for purpose and clarity, it’s tempting to crave answers before the journey has even begun. But here’s the truth: formation always comes before revelation.

Before the light breaks through, there's often darkness. Before the clarity of purpose, there is shaping, stretching, and molding. This season you’re in—the quiet grind, the unseen work, the inner battles—it’s not punishment. It’s preparation.

Just like seeds must be buried before they bloom, so too must you go through your formation before you can carry the weight of your revelation.

You’re not being delayed.
You’re being developed.
The silence is not absence—it’s strategy.
The tension is not failure—it’s training.

So take heart. If you’re in the shadows, know that you’re being shaped into someone who can carry what’s coming. Growth happens underground. Steel is forged in fire. And when the revelation comes, you’ll be ready—not just to receive it, but to sustain it.

Keep showing up. Stay faithful in the formation.
Because what’s being built in you is bigger than what you can see right now.

Your revelation is on the other side of your formation.

What’s happening in Kenya right now is heartbreaking—and it’s time the world paid attention.

Young people, led by Gen Z, are rising up with courage and conviction against injustice, corruption, economic oppression, and police brutality. They are not armed. They are not violent. They are demanding a better future—for all of us.

Yet they are met with bullets. Tear gas. Torture. Intimidation. Censorship.

📢 Albert Ojwang, a young teacher and political blogger, died in police custody. The autopsy shows clear signs of torture. His death lit a fire—and now the state wants to silence that fire with violence. But Kenya’s youth won’t be silenced.

🕯️ So many lives have already been lost. So many injured. So many missing. And still—they march, chant, create, and resist with dignity. This is not “unrest”—it’s a revolution of hope.

We must amplify their voices. We must say their names. We must demand justice and accountability from those in power.
