I’m incredibly proud to share this.

My dear friend — and truly, a constant source of inspiration — has officially launched an extraordinary not-for-profit, .

Having spent time in Africa myself, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful this work is. What One Tribe Mama is doing goes far beyond aid — it’s about dignity, empowerment, and long-term change. Through microfinance, education, and wrap-around support, they’re helping women in Kenya build sustainable futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.

What makes it even more special is the small but deeply committed network of people behind it — proof that meaningful impact doesn’t require scale, just heart and intention.

I’m also genuinely honoured to have built the website for this project through Perspective Visuals:

If this resonates with you, I encourage you to take a moment to explore the site — and if you’re able, consider donating. Even a small contribution can be life-changing.

This is the kind of work the world needs more of.

Human rights aren’t a privilege handed out.
They’re a birthright — universal, indivisible and worth defending every single day.

World Human Rights Day is a reminder that freedom, safety and dignity should never depend on who you are, where you were born, or what challenges you face. Yet for millions, these rights are still out of reach.

Change starts with awareness.
Awareness starts with conversation.
And conversation starts with us.

At Perspective Visuals, we believe storytelling has the power to spotlight injustice, amplify unheard voices and create deeper connection across communities. When we see people clearly, we value them more fully.

Let’s stand for a world where every person has the right to live free, protected and respected.

Today marks the International Day of Persons with Disabilities — a reminder to pause, reflect and listen.

Behind every statistic is a person. A story. A voice that deserves space, representation and respect.
Accessibility isn’t just about ramps, captions or policies
it’s about the world we choose to create together. A world where everyone can participate fully, without barriers or assumptions.

At Perspective Visuals, we believe storytelling can shift mindsets, spark empathy and bring visibility to communities who aren’t always seen. When people feel represented, they feel valued — and that’s where real inclusion begins.

Let’s keep challenging bias. Let’s keep amplifying voices. Let’s keep choosing a future where everyone belongs.

What if a story could shift a nation?

We were honoured to collaborate with Reconciliation NSW to produce the opening video for National Reconciliation Week 2025 — a powerful reminder of the role storytelling plays in truth-telling, healing, and change.

As one of the oldest living storytelling cultures in the world, First Nations voices hold wisdom, resilience, and deep connection. It was a privilege to help spark conversations that honour these voices and amplify their message.

It was also inspiring to hear from the likes of from Reconciliation NSW — a Worimi man passionate for for and representation of indigenous people.

At Perspective Visuals, we’re proud to partner with purpose-led organisations to tell stories that matter — stories that move hearts, shift perspectives, and create impact.

Because the lens doesn’t just capture — it connects.

Every story is a blank canvas—waiting to be filled with the vibrant hues of hope and change.

Charities and not-for-profits are doing life-changing work, but how that story is told can be just as important as the work itself.
At Perspective Visuals, we help you tell it right—through videography, photography, social media, websites, and full-service digital storytelling.

Because sometimes, your story grows—and you’ll need more than a one-off campaign.
We’re here to be your digital partners in that journey.

Some moments aren’t easy to capture. Others, you’ll never forget.

While documenting the incredible work of Mission in Action, we were invited to witness the reality of a family they’ve supported for over 15 years.
What we saw shook us.

Behind a barred window, one of the volunteers tried speaking gently to a young woman lying inside—malnourished, unresponsive, alone.
Her mother wasn’t home. We searched. We waited.
Later, we learned she had gone out, desperately trying to find food for her children.

Despite Mission in Action’s ongoing support—housing, water, presence—sometimes the weight of poverty is just too much.
The daughter passed away not long after. And just two weeks later, the mother too—likely from the grief no one could have prepared her for.

We documented what we could. But some things no photo can capture: the ache, the injustice, the silence in that room.
And heartbreakingly, this is just one story—out of millions, unseen and ignored.
1 in 2 people lack access to basic healthcare.
1 in 13 children in Africa dies before their 5th birthday...

At Perspective Visuals, we don’t just point a lens—we witness, we honour, we amplify stories that matter.
If your organisation is doing work that the world needs to see, we’re here to help you tell it—truthfully, respectfully, powerfully.

Joy has a way of breaking through—even in the hardest places.
In Kenya, Perspective Visuals was able to witness firsthand: children who’ve faced more than most, yet still manage to light up the world with laughter. Their smiles aren’t just sweet moments; they’re acts of resilience. Living proof that hope can rise from hardship.

It’s easy to look away when the faces aren’t familiar. When stories don’t have names. But that distance is where disconnection grows.

Some reflections from Ariki, our founder and the photographer behind these images:

“Being behind the lens changes your perspective—your reality. You start to notice how desensitisation and sensationalism numb our emotions, keeping us at arm’s length from what’s real.
But these kids
they’re not ‘Kenyan children’, not ‘African children’, not ‘poverty-stricken children’.
They’re just children. Just humans.
When that conversation shifts, that’s when real change begins.
It’s challenged my own beliefs. Maybe it will challenge yours, too.”

Organisations like Mission In Action Community Development Centre and just providing aid—they’re standing tall for dignity, equity, and long-term opportunity. Their work doesn’t just support lives—it reshapes futures.

At Perspective Visuals, it’s our privilege to help bring these stories to light. Because when we share truth, we build empathy. And when we amplify these voices, we turn quiet strength into powerful, lasting change.

Let’s keep showing up—for them, and for the better world they remind us is possible.

Untold – Stories of the Nameless
Storm Fronts

In the shadow of the storm, quiet strength stands tall.
No fame, no spotlight — just raw, human resilience.
A reminder that even in silence, stories speak volumes.
