I know that many will disagree with this statement. But it’s simply my personal view.

As a DJ, I’m at peace with not being booked at every place, venue or music festival that i would love to play.
But I must admit that in the beginning of my career. It bothered me a lot.
But as I grow in this industry I’ve realized that
Sometimes I’m simply not the right fit for that room and that’s okay.
Different crowds. Different tastes.
Different energy.
I don’t believe in dragging venues or promoters on social media because I wasn’t booked.
That’s not integrity, that’s noise.
I believe in earning my place.
In letting the music speak.
In growth over entitlement.
In respect over resentment.
The right rooms will find me.
And when they do, it won’t be out of sympathy
it’ll be out of merit.

As a non-local creative who has worked closely with talents from Narok, I find it important to speak from a place of respect and unity.
Narok is home to hardworking, passionate, and talented creatives who are doing their best to grow the industry despite many challenges. Referring to creatives in any community as “fools” is not only unfair but also discouraging to an industry that needs support, mentorship, and collaboration.
Growth in the creative space comes from uplifting one another, not from disrespect or division. Whether local or non-local, we all play a role in shaping a stronger, more inclusive creative industry.
I stand with Narok creatives and encourage dialogue built on respect, understanding, and unity for the greater good of the art and the community.

I’m not scared of AI.
AI doesn’t have eyes. It can’t feel.
Deejaying has a lot to do with feeling.
Instincts. Stuff that no machine can replicate.
A machine can play hits. Just like many DJ’s out here. But it takes special talent & Skills to actually maintain this Dj thing.
the fact that I was already a DJ before it became cool to be a DJ.
I must say this sh is priceless.
