MORNING PRAYER:
Oh God, 🙏
This morning as we awake out of slumber we are confident knowing that we can face the untried day without fear because You have promised that You will never leave nor forsake us. You laid us down to sleep and it is by Your Spirit’s power that we are up again. We know from holy writ that the angel of the Lord encamps around all who fear You and they are delivered.
So, God, whether You choose to shield and protect us today it will not matter, because the record shows that when You came four days late to the tomb of Lazarus You were still on time. What an amazing God You are! May we never forget that You hold the keys of death and the grave and You have already appointed a day when You shall destroy death, the grave, evil men and evil angels.
