Today, Energy CS Hon Opiyo Wandayi had the distinct honor of receiving the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga in his office at Kasneb towers. For those who do not know, the Prime Minister is a former occupier of this same office, and it is indeed a momentous occasion when he calls on the former Ugunja MP. Baba was particularly impressed to hear about the last mile electrification programs that is bringing more Kenyans into the national grid. Together with KPC CEO Joe Sang and EPRA CEO Daniel Kipto, Waziri expressed the appreciation for receiving Baba’s wise counsel where they also reflected on ways to overcome some of the challenges in the energy sector.
