The family of the late former Zambian President Edgar Lungu has announced that he will be buried in South Africa, SABC News reports.
This is after the family and the Zambian government could not reach an agreement on how to send-off the former leader.
Among others, the former Zambian leader restricted his political rival, President Hakainde Hichilema from attending his funeral.
Yesterday, President Hichilema ended the official mourning period after a protracted stand-off on the matter.
Last week, former Malawi president, Dr. Bakili Muluzi intervened on the disagreement between the two sides before the family's U-turn.
