Are you preparing to Restock Broilers? Before that follow these steps!

Before bringing in your new flock, ensure your poultry house is clean and ready! Here’s a quick checklist to ensure a clean and healthy environment for your broilers:

1. Remove all litter from the previous flock and sweep the house thoroughly to eliminate dust and debris.

2. Wash the entire poultry house with water and liquid soap, paying extra attention to corners and hard-to-reach areas.

3. Scrub those curtain drops until they’re squeaky clean – they can harbor bacteria if neglected!

4. Wash and disinfect all drinkers and feeders to prevent disease carryover. Double-check for any residue!

5. Once everything is clean and dry, disinfect the house with Pharmguard. Seal it up and let it sit for at least 2 days to ensure maximum effectiveness.

6. Introduce fresh husk or sawdust only after disinfection is complete to create a cozy, clean bedding for your new flock.

Bonus: Check ventilation systems and repair any leaks or damages to maintain optimal air quality. A well-prepped house sets the stage for healthy, thriving broilers!
