SportPesa League enters day two this weekend.
How will the teams earn form the league sponsors.
Azam TV will give each team KES 300,000 Per month. Which adds up to KES 3,600,000 per year.
SportPesa will give each team roughly KES 300,000 per month adding up to 3,600,000, per year.
So cumulatively each team will earn KES 7,200,000 per year
Also each team is responsible of searching for it's own sponsors. As well as other sources of funds.
They include but not limited to the following.
1) Home game matchday attendance
2) Sale of replicas to the fans.
3) Fund drives
4) Sale of players among many different methods of raising money.
That said if a management is serious with running it's club professionally we should not be complaining much in our league.
