The valley of the shadow of death is not an easy place to be in.. you know,.. And it doesn't always mean that God is not in there with you..His promise remains..I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Have you ever felt like that place didn't look like God was in it..🫣🤣😜.. I have been there, not once , not twice, ..

Lately I have been thinking about the story of Joseph . When God gave him the vision of his life he probably thought things would align so fast and well BUT.. WUEEH.. from his brothers digging that hole for him, to being sold to Potiphar's house as a slave, to the prison... How do you associate God with all that..??? But the results definitely assure us of God's presence with Joseph. The whole process was strategic, timely, and on point for the Glory of God. To accomplish every detail of Joseph's dream. At Potiphar's house he was in charge of everything he owned except the wife and as long as he was in charge the palace prospered, in the prison he was made the head of all the prisoners and the prison affairs.. He was taught, trained, and qualified by God even before He became the prime minister.. His ways and thoughts for us are for good and for the Glory of His name.

You dear Fellow woman in the Lord, you who feels like that situation doesn't look like God, He is there with you and working out that situation for your good. In that valley, His rod and staff are there with you.. comforting you, giving you the grace, strength and all that you need for you to dine in the presence of your enemies. You will definitely get out of that situation..Hold on to Jesus.

Dear Fellow Woman,

The story of Abraham is one we envy in a good way , but how many of us are willing and ready to pay the price like he did. To be honest there are days I doubt myself and there are days I am over the moon ready.

But today , let's focus on ..not provision but mastering the skill of hearing His voice ( God's voice) and obeying it.

These two aspects are some of the greatest factors that contributed to Abraham's success.

1. How does God speak to you??
2. When you hear Him, do you obey??

He says Obedience is better than sacrifice...

How much do you trust Him to guide you.

We like to pray "" May you oh Lord order my steps and delight in them""😜.. good prayer.. but are you sure when He orders you will follow because sometimes to be honest the steps don't look like what we imagined or envisioned.. but we follow regardless coz we know where He leads He sustains, He provides, He protects, He shields.. and that is our peace.

why worry so much when you didn't start the good work..☺️

The one who did will provide, sustain, Help, make a way, design solutions, He will carry you through that Business, ministry, marriage, relationship, career, ..He will bring it to completion.

But you have a task,

To Obey, To believe, to trust, to be patient, to speak it out, to pray, to give thanks, ...

He Will do His Part.

He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will Help you.

Stay strong, ( May His Rod and Staff comfort you).

Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive,...

How can you give what you don't have..
For you to have an overflow then you need to be filled first.

How I desire,and pray that out of our innermost beings shall flow that which is of theHoly Spirit.
Wisdom, Love, Joy, Peace, Success, divine Strategies, good decisions, ... Everything that is of the Spirit of God.

HOW FAITHFUL CAN YOU BE , TO WHAT EXTENT CAN YOU STAND UP FOR THE TRUTH - INTEGRITY.
HOW DEVOTED ARE YOU??

While I was praying this morning, the spirit of God reminded me of the donkey that actually spoke in the Bible and I took it upon me to read that chapter.

Before, I was fascinated by the fact that God actually made a donkey speak, but why was the donkey speaking.. I have heard the story before.. but today the Lord reminds me of Faithfulness.

When you read that story from chapter 22 of numbers you get to experience Balaams' journey of Faithfulness in His calling.

How many of us, in such an era, economically could refuse an offer from the King, 🫣, Balaam had one one task from King Balak..to curse the Israelites and he would have anything and everything he would have asked for ..

Wueeh.. many times I have compromised, 🙆😜🫣, yes, so many times.. in line with my career, as a woman, wife, mother, friend, entrepreneur, they may not be huge compromises but do they depict the character of Christ,
Sometimes I comfort myself with the word..si ata Abraham alidanganya Sarah si bibi yake and out of it akapata wealth.. si ata peter alikana yesu ..

But, is it possible to emulate the character of Prophet Balaam, That no matter what , I will stand with the truth, that I will do my business the right way, that I will be a faithful husband/ wife, that I will be a truthful mother/father 🤣🤣, that I will do the right things at work, that I will do ministry the right way without manipulating the sheep's and taking advantage of there vulnerability..

Dear Fellow Woman, these are tough questions...

Can we die to ourselves and allow Christ to teach us the way of Faithfulness even to God. It must have been tough for Him to know his purpose and accept it.. He even doubted it and almost gave up, but He held on ..true to His purpose He died on the cross.

I was afraid for Balaam , But He stood up and defended his course without allowing distractions to sway him.

I am still asking myself these questions... 🙆💕.I know through Christ it is possible.. but Are we willing??

FINDING AND ACCEPTING GODS WILL OR PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE MEANS DYING TO YOUR OWN.

Proverbs 3:5_6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

It got to a point in my life when I had to submit all that I thought I knew and believed was my purpose to God for Him to align or perfect. I knew I was meant to do business and I tried so many of them but they didn't work, I knew I had a ministry in me and I thought it was just to be a worshipper.. I knew I wanted children and I had my own number and gender figured out...

Until one day I got tired of things falling out and chose to trust God with my destiny. I sought for clarity and guidance, I let go of everything I knew and thought and allowed God's wisdom to speak to me. To let me know which business to venture into, what kind of ministry... Etc

Today I walk in absolute clarity and confidence knowing I do not walk by myself, I walk with God.. Ordering my every step and orchestrating every season of my life .
Some days I feel delayed, I feel left out, but My peace is in knowing that in His Time , which is now He is making everything beautiful. I do not need to rush for when He shows up there is always an evidence of His manifestation, there is always a consistent pattern of His presence in my journey.

But First you need to accept that you will have let go of that desire you think is the will of God and allow Him to speak .

A few months ago I was feeling drained, my heart was heavy, I wanted to pray, cry, shout, talk to someone, be hugged, all at once...

Dear Fellow Woman,

We are still on effective prayer 😜.

So I got home from work, my kids were on holiday at their grandma's. A lot was going on, I had hosted our first BTGW prayer breakfast.. successfully, so I wanted to thank God, I was trusting God for financial breakthrough ( which was not breaking through😜), the previous year God had greatly spoken to my life.. things that are yet to manifest but I was feeling a little impatient, I did not know whether I was happy or sad that my kids were on holiday, my partner was going through a tough time, yaani it was a rollercoaster of emotions, feelings, thoughts, .. everything..

So I lay flat on the floor and I made a short prayer... " Dear God, I do not know or understand what's going on inside of me but you do, so I will cry my heart out, But Lord, I pray that my tears will fall on a fruitful ground that is at your feet" and I broke down..
My dear, I cried, nililia 🤣🤣🤣.. for hrs, I later managed to take a shower but still .. 🤣🤣🙆. I cried myself to sleep and later that night the Lord said to me

""I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU ".

that was the most refreshing assurance I have ever heard.

So according to me,
An effective prayer doesn't need well arranged vocabularies, it doesn't have to be in English or Swahili, just the language that clearly and sincerely expresses your inner self, you don't need to be standing, or jumping, or sleeping, just comfortable enough to describe your state at the moment .. It doesn't need a timeline..1 hr, 2 hrs, just enough time.. It doesn't have to be spoken , written, .. It needs to be sincere and you don't need to do it once or twice as many times as you can... Continuous...

There are days I will write my prayers, there are days I will speak them, others cry them, dance them away, or even worship ..and there are days I will seek a spiritual authority to speak over my life.. there are days I will pray standing, others sitted, kneeling, on the floor, walking, .. there are days I will pray for hrs, minutes, others I fast......

Just be sincere, willing and consistent..

HOW DELIBERATE ARE YOU ABOUT YOUR PRAYER LIFE??.

Dear Fellow Woman,

Creating a consistent prayer life is hard.. I will not lie at least for myself.. I try as much as possible and for a certain period it works perfectly and then comes a time when I start to fight with my sleeping time, what to pray for next, which verse to guide me, I start to feel overwhelmed, my body wants to rest more..🙆🥵.. a lot goes on and it starts to feel like an inside war...

But eventually I have to decide who wins, the Flesh or the spirit.. many times I bounce back stronger and other times I am ashamed 🤣🤣🤣 Like how could I not have created time even for just 30 minutes...

So you are not alone and it's okay as long as the desire is still there. You just have to be intentional about it.

You can start by planning your prayers the way you plan your day, have a prayer time included in your schedule, be it day or night.. just be intentional but don't beat yourself up when you can't for a day, or two.. don't allow the enemy to lie to you. Building one is not a walk in the park BUT it is doable.

Even Jesus intentionally and often found time to pray away from the noise .. just Him and The Father.

It's not Easy but it's possible.

THE CALL FOR ABSOLUTE, TOTAL SURRENDER.

Dear Fellow Woman,

The call for absolute, Total surrender in reference to Matthew 6:33 shows us that the way to acquire every other need in this life is by Seeking God's Kingdoms first and His righteousness.

This involves
1. Letting go of personal ambitions and desires and prioritizing God's perfect will for your life.
2. Putting all of your Trust in Him that created you and knowing that He has your interests and concerns at His heart and therefore when you align yourself to His will then your concerns are automatically met. You do not have to be anxious about anything verse 34.

I will not lie that it is an easy thing to do, to allow Gods will to prevail especially when your way seems to work for you.. But it is until you try... That you will know and see that He meant every word that He said. It's not a walk in the park But it's worth every bit.

It's a call for you to surrender ALL to Him..
Your Ministry, Family, Children, Business, Career, Finances, those projects, that concern..
He is El Shadai.. The Almighty God. Faithful to His Word and Merciful in every way.

GROWTH IS GRADUAL

On the day my Girls came home for midterm, I watched them hasten to finish their short holiday homework so they can have enough time to play.. the little one didn't manage to finish but the older one did.
So I watched as my little one did a page of her homework where she was supposed to color and I paused.. " This is beautiful progress.. "she can carefully color the entire piece and even though there are a few strides to take.. the final product was way impressive that what we started with.

And I reminded myself that, I do not need to have it all figured out in the beginning, I do not need to beat myself up.. pole pole I will get there. I just need to be willing, consistent, disciplined..be it in my spiritual walk, parenting, marriage, finances, Business, Ministry, Relationships... Gradually it will take form though everything needs a bit of work and that work is the price we pay for the results.. ( Discipline, consistency, a willing heart, and most importantly the voice of God in everything).
