Lugari MP Hon. Nabwera Daraja Nabii today hosted the Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Masika Wetang’ula, and President William Ruto's aide, Mr. Farouk Kibet, during a successful Harambee fundraiser held at Chekalini Primary School in support of the construction of the Chekalini PAG District Headquarters.

The event brought together leaders, clergy, and members of the public in support of the project, which serves more than 32 churches within the district. Through the collective efforts of well-wishers and stakeholders, a total of KSh 4.2 million was raised.

Hon. Nabwera has remained committed to supporting faith-based institutions and community groups through strategic partnerships, collaboration, and networking noting that such initiatives were key to accelerating development and fostering social transformation within the constituency.

The Western MPs Caucus Secretary also emphasized the importance of Luhya unity, urging residents of Lugari and the wider Western Kenya region to embrace purposeful politics focused on development, empowerment, and shared prosperity.

MP NABWERA CHAMPIONS ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT IN LUGARI

Today, Hon. Nabwera Daraja Nabii attended the AGM and Thanksgiving Ceremony at Luanda-Lugari Senior School, an event that brought together parents, teachers, and other education stakeholders.

Hon.Nabwera urged parents to take an active role in supporting their children's education, emphasizing the importance of parental involvement in academic success.

Hon. Nabii commended the school for its impressive performance in last year's examinations, noting that the top student attained an A- grade. In recognition of the school's achievements and to further enhance academic excellence, he pledged KSh 5 million towards the renovation of the science laboratory and the construction of a new computer laboratory.

The investment is expected to improve learning facilities and contribute significantly to the school's future performance.

HON. NABWERA DARAJA NABII CHAMPIONS EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT AT LUMAKANDA TOWNSHIP COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL AGM

Hon. Nabwera Daraja Nabii today attended the AGM at Lumakanda Township Comprehensive School, where he reaffirmed his commitment to improving the education sector within the constituency.

The MP began his visit by inspecting the ongoing construction of a new school project sponsored by the Safaricom Foundation. He further announced plans for the renovation of eight classrooms in the school to enhance the learning environment for students.

The school also benefited from 15 sets of sports uniforms, aimed at promoting co-curricular activities and nurturing talent among learners.

In addition, Hon. Nabwera revealed that the school will receive a modern multipurpose hall through NG-CDF funding. The facility is expected to support digital learning, especially in the teaching and learning of foreign languages.

LUGARI MP NABWERA PRAISES NAMBILIMA SCHOOL’S EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE, PLEDGES DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

Hon. Nabwera Daraja Nabii, the Lugari Constituency Member of Parliament, today concluded his day at Nambilima Senior School during the institution’s AGM meeting and Thanksgiving Ceremony.

The MP applauded the teachers and the school’s Board of Management for their dedication and hard work in ensuring impressive academic performance last year, which saw 27 students secure direct entry to university.

Hon. Nabwera also revealed plans aimed at improving the school’s infrastructure, including the expansion of the school land through an allocation of KSh 1.2 million. I didn’t want to talk much about it. But honestly, parents need to be allowed to frequently access and inspect these dormitories to see where their children are staying. Some of these dorms look more like storage rooms than safe places for students to live.🥹
