Tanzanian rapper Mr Blue has taken the opportunity to clarify recent speculations surrounding a supposed feud with fellow artist Diamond Platnumz. In a candid interview with Wasafi TV, Mr Blue, who has been a prominent figure in the industry since 1999, vehemently denied any existing animosity.
The rapper recounted how Diamond Platnumz, then an emerging underground artist, approached him for a collaboration. Despite their initial attempt falling through due to an excessively long chorus, the two artists later joined forces on the track 'Mbagala.'
Addressing the origin of their collaboration, Mr Blue explained, "He came with a lot of love and put aside his bossiness. It was not immediate; we just started flowing until we became buddies. In my heart, I wanted to work with him, and he also wanted to work with me, but we did not know how to start. We met again during Wasafi Festival, before then we had not seen each other for years."
