✨Lucy is 1️⃣1️⃣ ✨

Her bday was actually yesterday but she’s a cat and has no concept of the internet and the reality is…I got distracted and school is kicking my 🍑 rn

From my first foster to the best very cat on earth, I can’t imagine life without this pitty-rub lovin’ snuggly bug.

I’d also like to extend the birthday greetings to Winnie (), Louie, and Tipper (rip bb 👼🏼). I thank everyday for bringing these kitties to me.

*obligatory last day of summer post ft. age six racer* 😂

We are back to school to tomorrow and I’m about as ready as I’ll ever be. Summer was fast, per usual. While most of it was good, we lost my grandpa. For lack of better words, I miss him dearly.

On a happier note, .baana and I went to the MN Yacht Club to live out our youth and saw Patrick Stump fill in for Justin Pierre during the MCS set.

Lots of outside time. Lots of gardening. Lots of flowers. Lots of mosquito bites. Catching up with friends. Trying new foods (I’d never had fish tacos 😂). Markets, thrifting, and auction wins.

Anywho, here is to a great year. Cheers 🎉

(Technically his bday was yesterday but he is a dog so he doesn’t know any better and and I took a day trip to Minneapolis to run a couple of errands 😂)

A moment for the cosmos 🌸

Last year I saved the deadheads from my cosmos and randomly threw them down in place of my lost perennials. I am thoroughly impressed with how they turned out.

I also found a pack of giant cosmos seeds and tossed those down, too, and they are absolutely HUGE. They are finally starting to bloom and my flabbers are gasted as to how big the stems are 😂 I planted some orange ones too, and I can’t wait to see them.

12 years of Fallon 💜💜

Looking back, I couldn’t have asked for a better dog.

The beginning was rough but that was because I didn’t know what I was doing. I was a cat gal. I’m so thankful to watch this face turn gray. Happy Gotcha Day Fal.

I guess I am the person who takes photos of their garden now. 😜

The veggies are growing slowly but surely and the pollinator patch is poppin off.

I am slowly working on getting more native plants in there/ replacing the current ones or ones that don’t come back with native plants.

I’ve also started collecting deadheads for annual seeds for next year (zinnias, cosmos, and marigolds, specifically).

Anyway. That is what I’ve been up to lately 😂😂
