Important updates from kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei settlement .
Life is hard to persevere now in both camps.
Especially the vulnerable people who have been placed in category 3 and 4.
Since category 1 and 2 from Kakuma have yesterday started receiving their food 40% and 20% respectively for August and September, it means those who have been placed in category 3 and 4 accidentally or by coincidentally will suffer for 60/61 days without food.
The UN, UNHCR, WFP, DRS, and other agencies have no promise for these categories, they said the recourse visitation will begin on 12th August to rectify the misclassified households, but we don't know what which method are they going to use to reach out those households.
As you can see from the picture, some families with no other source of support, so they have started their journey to South Sudan by foot. The situation in both camps is threatening because of hunger which the UNHCR and Gover of Kenya failed to address.
