Kenya, Africa, and the world have lost a true icon of democracy. We have lost a treasure, a beacon of hope and courage. It will take ages, perhaps generations, to replace him.

Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga was more than a political leader; he was a Pan-Africanist, a statesman, and the embodiment of resilience, courage, and an unyielding commitment to justice and freedom. His life’s journey defined by sacrifice and an unshakable belief in the power of the people reshaped our nation’s destiny and inspired generations across the continent and beyond.

Today, we mourn not only the loss of a great leader but the passing of a visionary whose dream for a united, just, and prosperous Kenya illuminated the path for millions. Though his voice has fallen silent, his ideals, his spirit, and his love for the people will forever live in our hearts and in the very soul of our nation.

May his family, friends, and the entire country find strength and comfort in the enduring legacy he leaves behind.

Rest in Peace Baba, the People’s Champion.

Yesterday, I offered my support to the families affected by the tragic accident at the Coptic Roundabout on the Kisumu-Kakamega Road. At AIC Church Naki, I made a cash donation of Ksh 400,000 and provided food items to the 26 families who are preparing to bury their loved ones tomorrow.

My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. My deepest condolences.
