EXTENDED DEADLINE SUBMISSION CALL!

Due to limited acceptable submissions, Sique Magazine will be extending submissions through September 7th for our upcoming issue: : “Stockings, Legs, & Heels” – a curated celebration of the elegance, allure, and timeless artistry of photography that emphasizes legs and feet… whether bare, adorned in classic stockings & sheer hosiery, or elevated by vintage-style heels. The focus should remain specifically on the lower body as the primary visual subject. This is NOT a full-body fashion shoot—it’s an intimate, stylized exploration of form, detail, and presence.

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Imagery that centers legs, feet, stockings, and/or heels as the main visual subject
✔ Timeless styling – classic nylons, garters, sheer hosiery, and vintage or elegant heels
✔ Artistic nudity is welcome and encouraged
✔ Black & white strongly preferred, but exceptional color work will be considered
✘ No fishnets, modern "alt-style" heels, or overly contemporary styling
✘ No full-body or fashion-focused images that don’t prioritize the theme

Mood Board & Reference:
To better understand the aesthetic and intent of this issue, we highly encourage all contributors to view the mood board that will be linked at the bottom of the CURRENT THEME page on our website (link in bio).

Work that does not clearly reflect the spirit of the theme will NOT be accepted. We’ll be happy to discuss any potential ideas & images you have in mind beforehand. If you are in doubt, please reach out!

We are looking for images that are cinematic, timeless, classic, and iconic—images that feel reminiscent of a dream, a vintage film still, or a forgotten noir. Seduction, structure, and subtlety are key!

🔥 Call for Submissions – “Smokin Nudes” 🔥

Sique Magazine will be accepting photography submissions through April 13th for our upcoming issue: “Smokin Nudes” – a celebration of the raw, cinematic, and rebellious energy of artistic n**es smoking ci******es.

Throughout the history of photography and cinema, ci******es have been a powerful visual tool—symbolizing everything from seduction and mystery to rebellion and self-destruction. Think of the smoky allure of old Hollywood starlets, the gritty edge of noir antiheroes, or the raw intimacy captured in 20th-century fine art photography. Ci******es in photographic imagery can act as a timeless prop in visual storytelling, adding tension, elegance, or a sense of nonchalance. They can function as an extension of the subject’s personality, emotions, or contribute to the overall visual mood, atmosphere, & narrative.

We’re looking for artistic, evocative, sensual, and thought-provoking timeless imagery that captures this essence—whether your work channels vintage glamour, sultry erotica, or surreal elegance. Please no modern style pin-up. We’re looking for timeless art photography.

Submission Guidelines:
✔ High-quality artistic n**e photography featuring cigarette smoking
✔ CI******ES ONLY – No ci**rs, vapes, joints, bongs, or other smoking devices
✔ Black & white or color, digital or film
✔ Must align with our artistic and editorial vision for the theme
✔ No AI-generated images

READ THE ENTIRE POST!

Due to a limited number of submissions that fit the theme of this issue, we have decided in the name of quality to extend the deadline. Submissions for our "Macabre" issue are now open through January 5th! We’d rather the issue be GOOD than on time!

Before shooting/submitting, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you look over our mood board for the type of work we'll be accepting. You can find this info on the "Current Theme" page of our website (link in bio).

We are looking for ominously atmospheric, creepy, eerie, nightmarish images that have a surreal sense of otherworldly dread with an artistic aesthetic. We’d like to see work of foreboding horror, with a nod to unnatural elements, that is unnerving in an old-school manner.

The work SHOULD NOT specifically be about costumes, props, or even models… Creepy still life & landscape images are just as eerie as those with a figure present, so PLEASE don’t be afraid to take shots that don’t have a model involved. Liminal spaces, or decayed forgotten areas can be incredibly unnerving when presented correctly.

WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR contemporary “schlock”, gore/blood, or the “over the top/forced” look of what might be considered modern or "fun house" horror. WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR horror/fantasy cosplay, horror-erotic styled pin-up, blood/gore, or modern-styled “horror shock” images. NO SEXY (whatever version of a horror character) SHOTS PLEASE.

We’re looking for quality, ARTISTICALLY HAUNTING IMAGES that encapsulate a disturbing, unearthly, or unnatural atmosphere in the image as a whole.

As the work we’re looking for in this issue is drastically different that most issues, & in the interest of keeping the images as diverse & unnerving as possible, we ask that you send sets of NO MORE THAN 3 IMAGES DEPICTING THE SAME SETTING/SCENES/LOOKS. That being said, we encourage you to SUBMIT AS MANY SETS OF ALTERNATE LOOKS/SETTINGS/SCENES AS YOU LIKE.

The theme people have been waiting for & asking about has returned... Submissions for our "Macabre" issue are open through November 24th!

What we’re looking for are creepy, eerie, nightmarish, and ominous images that encompass a surreal sense of otherworldly dread and that adhere to an artistic & atmospheric aesthetic. We’d like to see work that inspires foreboding horror, with a nod to supernatural elements, & is unnerving in an old-school manner without the use of contemporary “schlock”, gore/blood, & the “over the top/forced” look of what might be considered modern "fun house" horror.

The work featured will not specifically be about costumes, props, or even the models… Appropriate still life/landscape images will be accepted if they fall within the parameters of what we’re looking for, so don’t be afraid to take shots that don’t even have models involved. We’re looking for quality, ARTISTICALLY HAUNTING IMAGES that encapsulate an unearthly & unnatural atmosphere in the image as a whole.

As the types of images we’re looking for in this issue are drastically different that most issue submissions (and in the interest of keeping the images as diverse, interesting, and unnerving as possible), we ask that you send sets of no more than 3 images depicting the same setting/scenes/looks. That being said, we encourage you to submit as many sets of alternate looks/settings/scenes as you can..

Before shooting/submitting, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you look over our mood board for the type of work we'll be accepting. You can find this info on the "Current Theme" page of our website (link in bio).

Remember, we're looking for QUALITY, ARTISTIC images. WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR standard cosplay/costuming work, horror styled pin-up, blood/gore, or modern-styled “horror shock” images. And please no sexy “whatever version of a horror character” shots.

We have opened submissions for our next issue which will be “Mug Shots” – The idea for this theme is to have classically styled images of n**e subjects, using creative lighting, angles, framing, cropping, and so forth to feature a coffee/tea mug as a predominate focus in the images.

THE IDEA IS THAT THE IMAGES ARE NOT BEAUTY/GLAMOUR SHOT, BUT INSTEAD, EXPERIMENTAL ART-HOUSE STYLE SHOTS CREATIVELY USING A MUG IN THE PHOTO. WORK THAT CENTERS MAINLY AROUND FULL BODY SHOTS WILL NOT BE A GOOD FIT FOR THE THEME!

PLEASE NO MUGS USING LOGOS, ARTWORK, OR TEXT. THE IDEA IS TO KEEP THE IMAGES AS TIMELESS, CLASSIC, ARTISTIC, & ICONIC AS POSSIBLE!

We have a link to a mood board to display the type of work we are looking for at the bottom of our “CURRENT THEME” page of our website. Our submission guidelines are also on our website. The link is in our bio. We would advise EVERYONE to REVIEW THAT WORK, as images that don’t focus on the theme or follow the guidelines will NOT be accepted.
