Environmental right organisations led by Kiptabkei Environmental CBO and bee keeping farmers in Nandi County have warned that unless urgent measures are taken to reverse the trend ,bees risk being wipe out from the face of the earth.
They appealed to pesticide manufacturing companies to produce products that are friendly to save the bees from extinction.
The groups made the remarks at Kipsebwo in Nandi Hills Constituency during the celebrations to mark the World Bee day.

Over 30 schools benefited from the initiative funded by NG-CDF under food program have been consumed only to realise later that the samples obtained from Ndurio Secondary school found that the sweetener poses risk to human health.
